Reminiscences of MLK
A local Boulderite remembers his days in graduate school with Martin Luther King Jr., and relates his own start in organizing for social justice.
SFPJ Protests Dirty Coal
SFPJ members, along with other activists, went to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) to protest Xcel’s plans to open the Cherokee coal-fired power plant.
Protesters debunk the myth of “clean coal” and describe the negative effects that dirty coal has on health.
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment plans to issue the privately-owned company a permit to open the plant soon.
Protesters explain why it’s time to put Public Health ahead of Corporate Profit.
